Almost time for my walk - 3 day Breast Cancer Walk

After 8 months of training and raising money, Chrissy and I are almost ready to go on the final stage of this adventure!  We are walking 60 miles over 3 days throughout Philadelphia this weekend, October 17, 18 and 19.   We have both hit our mandatory fundraising goals and hope that in our lifetime, a cure for breast cancer will be found.  It strikes men AND women, all ages, all races.  This walk is a small part of what we can do to help in the fight.  We have to check in on Friday at 6 am (OMG!) and we'll walk a little over 20 miles that day to camp.  Saturday, our route will take us all throughout Philadelphia!  Sunday, we break camp and head out for the final stretch of the walk onto the campus of Villanova for closing ceremonies.  I can't imagine how I'll feel that last day and those last miles.  I hope to still be walking, LOL!   I'll tell you all about it next week!

Well, here I am!

I've finally made it to the blogging world!  Maybe if I keep telling myself and everyone that listens that I WILL finish my website and get more organized, I really will!!  I always have too many things going on at the same time and feel like I never completely get every thing done.  I am a mom of 3 wonderful boys and a great hubby, been married for almost 15 years, wow, time flies!  I work out of the house part time.  I just celebrated one year there and really enjoy the people that I work with and what I do.

I thought I would start a blog to talk about the projects that I'm always working on and still need to add to my website!!  I love to create fun and unique personalized gifts and am always looking for something new and different.  It's almost time to start advertising my letters from Santa...the kids LOVE getting those and it's always a busy time of year for me.

I've also decided to do a craft show again.  It's been 2 years since I've done one.  The kids were too young to leave alone and our schedule made it tough too.  I've got to work on some inventory and see what I want to bring.

Well, enough rambling for now.  I'll be back soon with more random thoughts!
